Pretty subtle animation this time. Since I started doing these animated covers, I knew I wanted to do a Hawkeye cover eventually since they’re pretty much the best things gracing the comic stands each month. If you’re not reading Hawkeye, I don’t know what your deal is.
I also made this not-so-subtle version, in response to this tweet.
A while back I did a quickie review of issue 1 of Young Avengers. I didn’t get into it too intensely, mostly based on my unfamiliarity with the characters. I recently caught up with issue 4 and I’m definitely digging it more now. I still don’t really know too much about the characters’ back stories but I’m following along well enough and it’s quite fun and refreshing. When you put Gillen and McKelvie together on a book though, it’s bound to turn into something special. Plus I love the cover design, hence why I decided to animate it.
